yielding to the natural flow

 Ai Chi

     Meditative movement in water

Practiced in shoulder deep water,
Ai Chi combines conscious breathing
and
slow, extended movements of the arms, legs, and torso.
In total, the progression is nineteen individual movements.

The benefits of these movements include increasing core
strength, flexibility, coordination, mobility, and metabolism.

Mental clarity, focus, and mind/body oneness are gifts of Ai Chi practice.
Feelings of relaxation and tranquility
are also experienced.

The round flowing motions provide a soothing experience
based on a principle of yielding to,
rather than resisting the
natural flow.

"Thank you, Ann, for introducing me to the peace and tranquility of Ai Chi.
You helped me experience true calmness.
Through your guidance, I was able to be in the moment
with the flow of the water, the movement of my body
and the clarity of my mind--in a refreshing, relaxing,
rejuvenating new way."  Jim, New York City

"Ann's gentle and thoughtful manner of teaching creates
the perfect environment for learning the technique (of
Ai Chi."  D.G., San Diego
